Charles Passarelli worked as an advertising illustrator in two of the largest studios in the country located in the Detroit area. His commissions came from many sources as far west as California, as far east as Germany, as far north as Toronto and south as Florida. He taught advanced illustration at the Center for Creative Studies. While still working he decided to leave behind the cold snowy winters of Michigan and move to Florida and free lance. When Charles decided to retire from advertising he was able to take up his passion for watercolor. He has since won many awards including best watercolorist in the Delray Affair, Boynton Beach Gala, Pigeon Key Art Festival and is a signature member of the Florida Watercolor Society and Palm Beach Watercolor Society. Charles teaches watercolor Zoom classes and teaches classes and conducts work shops in Michigan, Florida and the Florida Keys.
